    Hello Fred,

My Dad is suffering from Diabetes too and his blood sugar level seems to go up and down like a Yo-yo even he’s on medication. Other than trying different medication for diabetes, is there any other things like exercise that you incorporate in your treatment journey to make it a successful one ?
Appreciate your well written article on this topic that has affected millions of people around the world.
Thank you and looking forward to hear from you.

Rehmiee: Sorry to say, I tried just about everything. In addition to eating healthy and exercising (walking) up 5 miles a week, nothing seems to work. I also tried other over the counter supplements such as Cinnamon but its effectiveness seems to be inconclusive. I am not into strenuous exercise like going to the gym – that is the only one I have not tried. Eating smaller portions more frequently during the day (3 regular smaller portioned meals and eating healthy snacks in between like nuts and granola) seem to work for me. I also avoid sweets, but it is tough since I love them. When I eat ice cream, cakes, desserts or candy bars, I just take a bite or two. In spite of all these different approaches, there is no definitive single thing that helps me. I think for the rest of my life, I just need to be careful and be aware. I test for my blood sugar twice or sometimes three times a day. I believe that every individual has a different reaction to all the things I tried. My doctor and family is very supportive of my efforts. Thank you for your comment and wishing the best for your Dad!
